I’m Paul Reichert, a Berlin-born Director of Photography with a deep passion for visual storytelling and framing. My journey started back in 2012, producing music videos for youth projects in Berlin Wedding, where we captured young voices in authentic, creative ways. This experience inspired Newsraport, an EU-supported project where we turned news into rap, merging information with art. Since 2013, I’ve pursued my vision as a freelance DoP, combining my self-taught skills in lighting, sound, editing, and photography to create visuals that resonate.
With my own most important tools equipped – the RED Komodo and gimbal – I’ve worked with global brands, local artists and companies. From large-scale productions to TV and social media content, I bring a focused and professional approach to each collaboration.
Every project I take on is an opportunity to push beyond visual norms and create something truly resonant. I believe in the power of storytelling that speaks to people on a deeper level, blending artistry with intention to craft visuals that aren’t just seen, but felt. My approach is to dive into each concept with curiosity, exploring ways to capture the essence of a story and present it in a way that lingers with the audience.
